Chabad messianism
Chabad messianism, or Lubavitch messianism,〔also: Habad messianism, Lubavitcher messianism, mishichism, meshichism.〕 generally refers to the passion among adherents of the Chabad movement regarding the coming of the Messiah and their goal to raise awareness that his arrival is imminent. The concept that the Messiah can come at any given moment, is a basic tenet of Judaism. Since his death, there are those who have persisted in the belief that Schneersons could still be the Messiah, sometimes extremely vocally.
